Abstract

Legal awareness plays a pivotal role in fostering a just and harmonious society. This community service initiative aims to enhance legal awareness from an early age, particularly among children and adolescents, by utilizing participatory approaches and interactive methods. The program emphasizes the importance of early legal education as a foundation for responsible citizenship and law-abiding behavior. Key activities included interactive workshops, role-playing simulations, and community dialogues involving parents, educators, and local leaders. The results indicated significant improvements in participants' understanding of legal concepts, with pre- and post-program surveys showing a 70% increase in legal knowledge. This initiative underscores the potential of contextual and participatory approaches in addressing legal illiteracy while fostering a culture of lawfulness in underserved communities. Future recommendations include scaling the program and integrating it into formal education to ensure sustainability and broader impact.
